This 10 amp charger is suitable for use with all electric vehicles with a Type 1 vehicle connection and uses a standard domestic UK 3 pin socket outlet.

The 10 amp charging rate translates to approximately 2.3kW or in more real world  language approximately 1 mile of range for every 6-7 minutes of charging ( around 10 miles of range added per hour of charger )*  which adds around 110 plus miles of range to any electric vehicle or plug in hybrid vehicle when placed on a 12 hour overnight charge. 

The EV Extars 80 home charger is designed to be as compact and as lightweight as possible reducing the space and weight within the vehicle if you decide you need to charge away from home .

The charger is waterproof (IP65 rating ) and is available in either 7M or 12M lengths 

The 13 AMP socket needs to be plugged in either indoors or into a waterproof/ weather rated outdoor socket.
