This waterproof (IP65 rated) 10 amp charger is suitable for use with all electric vehicles with a Type 1 connection and uses a standard domestic UK 3 pin socket outlet.

Why purchase an expensive home charger when this will do the job?

The EV Extras charger is rated at 10 Amp (UK law to protect domestic circuits against overload and fire risk) and delivers 2.3kW of charge. 

The 10 amp charging rate translates in more real world language to approximately 1 mile of range for every 6-9 minutes of charging (around 7 to 10 miles of range added per hour of charge)* which adds 85 to 120 miles of range to any electric vehicle or plug in hybrid vehicle when placed on a 12 hour overnight charge. 

Our chargers are designed to be as compact and as lightweight as possible reducing the space and weight within the vehicle when charging away from home.

The 13 Amp socket needs to be plugged in either indoors or into a waterproof/ weather rated outdoor socket.
