Description

This Type 2 Charging cable is great for storage when not in use and charges vehicles with a Type 2 Connector.

 It is suitable for use at home, work or public charging stations with both EVs and PHEVs.

The coiled cable has the advantage of ease of storage over straight cables, recoiling neatly when not in use. The cables are available in 3, 5 or 7.5 metre usable cable lengths.*

This cable is rated at 32 amps - maximum charge rate of 7.4kW (up to approximately 1 mile of range for every 2 to 3 minutes of charging or 1 km of range for every 1 to 2 minutes of charging) **

The cable and connectors are both high quality and come with a 2 year manufacturer's guarantee.

The cable recoils to the following lengths for storage when not in use:

1.5m - 0.4 to 0.55m

3m - 0.5 to 0.75m

5m - 1.0 to 1.2m

7.5m - 1.3 to 1.5m

*Usable length-Although our cables are generously sized, usable length of coiled cables is part determined by the physical resistance from the power source socket it pulls against. In the unlikely event physical resistance is insufficient to stretch the cable, a lower useable length will be seen. If this causes issues we would be pleased to exchange the cable for the next length up. 

**Range varies by vehicle manufacturer and power supply used, ranges stated are approximate. Some vehicles are limited to 16 amp charging by the vehicle manufacturer.
